EK info

I recently purchased a new in retail box EK pB-4. I got lucky it was in a gunsafe for years and they had two actually. Its been hard finding out anything about the model. Do any of you have any info? Thanks.

Not sure about yours but I have an Ek "commando" bowie made in Illinois. Got it new in the early 90s for about $30 I believe. You know if its a production model or a John Ek handmade?

The designation sounds like a Blackjack made EK. Blackjack Knives I think started in California but then set up shop in Effingham Illinois. Went out of business, then back in business, a long and colorful history..

Here is a pic of a PG-4, I assume PB would mean yours is wrapped black.
