I have also put this tread in the custom area, but I think is more suitable here. Anyone knows the quality of the Ek blades made in Effingham, Il?. I think that that was the period when the brand was owned by Blackjack knives. I´m not sure, but the quality it´s said to be not too good. It´s true? What would be a correct price for a Ek knife in good condition? Thanks

They're decent knives, you can get em from $80-200 depending on what model. Avoid the late expedition knives "Ek". You get the occasional one with poor grind lines and warped blades.

Go with Virginia made knives not Effingham, quality was spotty it was during the time period Blackjack owned Ek. Ek is back on it own www.ekknife.com. A used virgina knife will bring 100-200 Rare collectable are higher.
