Thinking about getting one of these but was really wanting some Micarta scales. Anyone making these? Thanks.

They're farely new so maybe nobody's producing them based on demand.

I'm sure you could have custom scales made which would probably involve sending your Knife off. I'm not sure where to point you for that though. Ask around, your in the right place here but maybe check in General Discussion for a member who handles that....haha...handles that...

I hear ya. I just dont dig the plastic scales. Hopefully Ka-Bar will release some Micarta or wood handled ones in the future. Thanks.

Micarta is pretty easy to make at home....it wouldn't take much effort to make a set....not overly expensive either.
