I had this folder since a while, but never had a real interest in it, don’t know why. Here a shot whit my Vic Ranger for comparison

This folder has a beautiful sheath, and a thick handle (maybe too thick)

Let’s try it, I want to make a pot hanger

Final result

Two different positions

Details

The knife in hand…

…and between my young tomatoes (I’m so proud about it)

This folder is comfortable in hand, due to the wooden handle and the shape of the handle. I just don’t like the fact that the handle is so thick, a bit too much for me. I didn’t like the grind of the blade, it’s not a great wood carver as a scandi knife i.e.

Thanks for the review, I find that a lot of the EKAs have skinning grinds that are not the best for EDC tasks.

That's certainly one of the most proportionally deep (? - size from spine to bottom) handle I've seen!

Interesting knife; beautiful little tomatoes.

Another great 'testing in real life' with camp gadgets thread

I have to show your photos to my Scouts, they're terrific examples of what can be done with some sticks and a pocket knife!

I may be wrong, but I think this may be a folder version of a fixed blade hunter. Maybe it didn't translate too well.

That pot hanger is interesting. I'm not sure I could trust it in practice. Just some little notches holding the pot up.

Just dug this up now. Excellent review and presentation. I've been scouring for a traditional European folder for the past couple of months and this one just came rising to the top.

Cheers!
