I am looking for a retailer that sells EKA knives. I have found a few that sell the swede 60 wth a wood handle. I am looking for the knife with the plastic handle. So far none will order the plastic handle knife.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Drew

You don't find Eka in the states very much. The only dealer I know of, Chai Cutlery passed away and he had a poor selection and was also unwilling to order them. I got my last one from a friend who went to Sweden and brought it back. However, I have seen one or two midwestern gun/knife show dealers with a very limited selection. Contact the company, they helped me out concerning blade steel, etc. for a knife I own.

Haven't looked recently, but NDS products (www.ndsproducts.com) usually has them. They are a stand up outfit. EKA's official importer is up in Vermont. I'll see if I can dig up the name for you. I've always been intrigued by their products. I've got an EKA Masur that will take a face shaving edge. Let me know how you like the Swede if you're able to find it.

Per my previous post, the distributor EKA put me in contact with is:

Nichols Company
PO Box 473
Woodstock, VT 05091
(802) 457-3970
(802) 457-2051 FAX

Good people. Sent me a full color brochure of all the current offerings with my order.

EKA is carried by World Knives (www.worldknives.com)

I contacted several online retailers all that replied said the only version of the knife they carried was the wood handled version. I think World knives was one of them. I don't have the emails saved anymore.

Thanks anyway

There's a sporting goods store about 5 miles up the road from my house. They sell the kraton handled folder under the Normark brand. I t is I think the Eka Nordic Swede model. Good knife, I had one up until a couple of months ago but gave it to a friend to use for a 'camping knife'.
