Anybody have one of these? They any good? I was thinking about buying one...looks like an ideal bushcraft folder, but i wasnted to know how good they are first....any takers?

Dunno about that specific model 'cos it is a Scandi in wood, but generally speaking I think those EKAs are well done, especially at the price. I've got an EKA Big Swede I really like. Although it is basic with the brass and the flat head screws it's hard to make an allegation that anything important has been scrimped on when the locking back is three separate spring bars operating in parallel to give it a solid lock up. I've posted pictures of that here before. I think the blades are well executed too. I've seen blades finished to a much lower standard go for significantly more. I convexed mine and it makes a great woods knife. I think these little EKA folders are some of the best workhorse designs around for doing woods stuff despite many others being made from much better stuff.

I've got the Super Swede and it's a great knife. A friend who works on the rigs recommended it to me and i've never looked back. I go with the rubber handle though for grip in all weathers.

Mine is similar to the top one in this thread though a tiny bit bigger I think, and with the lock positioned slightly differently. Close enough. The pattern persists as this bloke likes them too. I think they're often overlooked because they are a bit agricultural looking. Shame. When I first got mine the first thought that came to me was how well amazingly well it beat that old benchmark the 110 at everything, and sometimes by a lot.
