What do you think about this knife ?
It looks very nice and I plan to buy one, but I prefer to have your opinions before...
:D

Very very nice design. I looked at one at the blade show, but...

I just wish it was a real v-grind. I like V grind better than chisel grind, but that was my only gripe...Then again, I only handled it for about a minute and did no cutting with it.

Hopefully someone on here can shed some light as to how the knife is over time as an EDC...

Not to hijack this thread, but I just have to say I love your avatar ReconTech. Very cool.

Thanks Roadrunner, I just did those pictures a few days ago. I am going to post a page with all my bear avatars. I did one of him holding a surefire M2 for Candlepowerforums, several knife ones for this forum, and one of him with handcuffs, badge, bullets for cop forums...

My wife got that bear for me...Forgot his name, think its Hero. All the profit from the original sale go to the USO, so I figured it wasn't a bad investment...

Hopefully this will bump this thread up and we'll get a review on the EKI persian. I really want one of these..

I own one of the ECA Tactical Persian's with the satin handground zero bevel blade. If you are looking for a all around use knife the the T-Persian is not the knife. On the other hand if you are looking for a wickedly sharp blade for stictly self-defense then the T-Persian excels. If the production piece is anything like the semi-custom piece then it would be a great SD knife that I would highly recommend. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

I fully agree with Mac Attack. If you need an SD folder the Persian meets all the requirements. It's not a utility folder.

The one I handled was one of the sharpest knives I've ever come across and the point is wicked without being weak.

I don't want to buy this knife for utility purposes (I already own the relevant knife : my Sebenza !!! :D). The Tactical Persian blade is long, fine and perfectly curved. It seems to me it is a very good knife for SD, and your posts confirm my impression...

Thanks for your advices !
