Eklipse rattle

I just got a lnib Eklipse. The knife is great except the pin that the blade rests on when closed, rattles around when the knife is open. I know I can send it to the ranch and they will take care of it. My question is , is this typical of the Eklipse or did I get a oddball? My XM-18 doesn't do this.

All of the Hinderer knives I've had the pleasure of handling (including my own small herd) don't exhibit any such issues.

I doubt that the quality standards of RHK would allow the Eklipse model to rattle, send it in and I'm sure they'll take great care of you.

I think the blade stop sits between the liner and frame and can come loose?

Everything is tight. I messaged Rob this morning, no response. Sent a official message through the website tonight, we'll see.
