El Bandito???

Just playing catch up in my new found addiction to all things Emerson so if this seems out dated and dumb please excuse me:D

What's up with the El Bandito? The thing looks AMAZING, but I can't seem to find em anywhere. Massive/ obsessive Google search and nada.

So any owners out there? If so can we get some pics and experiences?

I haven't looked in a while, but the only place I've seen them available was from the EKI website.
Good luck scoring one, it looks like the Gentleman Jim evil twin.
 
Yeah I said before on here on another post that is my fav Emerson and really want one of those to.
 
Emerson, like Strider, is a small-batch manufacturer. The El Bandito went into production, and is now sold out, I assume. You have to wait for another batch. It could be a little while as EKI seems to produce the normal models(7,8,Commander,etc.) far more often than the others.

That makes sense. What I found interesting though was there aren't even any YouTube vids on the El Bandito. If you search it on YouTube one video pops up and it's about the Gentleman Jim. So I was curious if anyone here owned one and could chat about what they thought of it. Seems like a rare bird of a knife.
 
If you go to Emerson's site, knives tab, then limited editions, the El Bandito is listed there in stock. I'm extremely tempted to snag one, I think it looks way better than the Gentleman Jim personally.

Seriously though, that thing looks nasty.
 
I have had a strange/awesome Emerson day today. When I recover from what I've done(:D) I'm going on a serious El Bandito hunt.

I just checked & it's still in stock and yet I don't have the funds.
Damn damn.
 
Just a suggestion, but I think everyone should wait a couple months before purchasing ANY El Bandito's from the Emerson website. Coincidentally, that's about the time frame I'll be able to purchase one. Now, if you all swear an oath to not make any rash decisions and pull the trigger on one, I promise I'll post a bunch of pics of mine:D

Hahaha I'm not sure yet!!! I put up a WTB for one on a different forum. Also on the look out for a Strider SLCC. So many knives so little cash.
 
Tell me about it. I have an Emerson Must Get list on my phone. I'm adding to it more often then I'm marking stuff off of it:D
 
I'm gonna pull the trigger on an El Bandito because I don't know when the next run will be. If the Bandito kicks the 13 out of my pocket....well I think hell would have just frozen over because the 13 is my absolute favorite Emerson.
