Michael Snody's Companion model dressed up for a "Night on the Town"! The blade is Mike Norris Raindrop Damascus and handles are some nice Carbon Fiber. The Companion is a nice little EDC utility knife but adding the damascus & CF add a real touch of class - I wouldn't feel out of place carrying this at a formal affair(discreetly of course!). The grinds & workmanship are typical of Mike's work - fantastic! - so clean & finished to perfection. Feels great in the hand - begs to be used & used hard. Mike got some great damascus & finished it off well - pattern is brought out & it is SHARP! Sheath is Multiple Carry & is also excellent. I love using this knife & it gets a lot of attention but in a very positive way - something about the damascus diverts people's attention away from being scared & intrigues them.

Very nice, Penguin! Usually I prefer natural handle materials to go with damascus, but that combination is just beautiful. The two patterns really compliment each other. Congratulations!:)

Penguin

Looks like you got one the two on Mike's web site.

I'v got the other one with the "gator" damiscus. I got a leather
sheath with a skin overlay.

Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

Very nice knife, Penguin! I really like it. I agree that the CF and the damascus go very well together. It is a bit odd to me that I'm not much of a fan of Japanese forms in knives, but I sure have a good collection of pics of Snody knives. Everything I've seen that is non-Japanese I love.

Have fun with that eminently useful looking knife.

That's really nice. Mike sure has some nice designs and I think I like that one as much as any of them. Enjoy!

I am a big fan of Mike's knives and this is a beautiful example. I love the Mike Norris damascus. Thanks for the great pictures.
