Hi just a few pics from a recent trip to Elba (small italien island)

The old part of the main port in Portoferraio, the island largest town.

I had one day to cruise around before the rest of tha family came in by plane.
So with Tino, the dog, aboard, I took the Rover and went a bit off road

Other than geckos, ants, birds, and lizzards I could'nt find more critters.
At least they left their tracks.

Thanks for these wonderful pictures!! I wonder why Napoleon didn't want to stay there..^^ Which model from SOG is the first knife btw?

I would be a Bowie S1, but it isn't. It's a Böker Son-tay Bowie, which is identical to the old S1. Gun-blued SK5-blade, made by Hattori in Seki, japan (exactly as the S1).

Thanks for the info and the quick answer , I could've sworn it's a SOG...so I learned something new today. Gotta take a closer look on this Böker, it looks great.

It's not available anymore, maybe aftermarket. It was a limited series, only 300 were made.

Another evening...

This is travelling First Class. While I was sleeping in a hammock, the dog had a king size bed.:D

Unfortunately, the pic falls short of really giving you the idea of the place. The scent of the maquis, a mediterain vegetation, is incredible.
