Electric Knife

I was just on another site where a guy mentiontioned something about building a servo controlled opening mechanism for a knife, I've been rattleing my brains out trying to remember the custom maker who made one about 10 years ago.
I remember reading about it in either Blade or KI, anyone remember the makers name?

Paul Fox (I think)builds them occasionally. I stopped by his table at the New York show in March, but he told me he only makes one every few years and didn't have one to show currently. If I recall, they're in the well-over-a-thousand range. I'd love to see one in person.
