Unfortunately, the onslaught of arthritis has made it very uncomfortable to use my Sharpmaker to
sharpen my kitchen and EDC knives. Is there an electric sharpener available that will take care
of most of my blades without ruining them? Thanks in advance.

I very recently bought a Work Sharp Ken Onion edition. I've sharpened a handful of knives and am really happy with the results. You're looking to pay between $130 and $150 depending on the vendor. It comes with a set of belts and if you register online they'll send you another set of belts free of charge.

If I am not mistaken the paper sharpening wheels are another option, theres a link at the top of this sub-forum on it.

Disclaimer: I have used neither worksharp or paper wheels but I have heard of people getting good results when they get their technique down. But it seems most people recommend picking up some cheap knives to practice on to get the hang of it.
