I am looking for an electric toothbrush, and I want to make sure it's a good one, and one that I'll enjoy using. I'd like it to be battery free, if possible (plug in, that is) and replacable heads. I have a battery operated crest model right now, but it A) uses batteries and B) has fairly hard bristles
I'd like something that has soft bristles on it already or soft bristles available.
Thanks. All opinions welcome.

My wife and I have been using the Sonicare for a few years now (like 5 years). Great quality, does a great job, and highly recommended by numerous dentists that I've talked to.

They're available at Costco, too. Heads are available all over as well. Mine has held a charge for about a month and a half now, using it daily. Can't beat that!

They're also inductively-charged, so no connector to get wet or worry about. They're completely waterproof.

Oral-B Triumph I can't find anything wrong with it and it seems very well built. Had it for about a year and no complaints.

I have used the ORAL-B models (one quit working after ~10 years :)) for ~15 years. With my lifestyle and over booking at my dentist, I have gone as long as 4 years :( between "cleanings". The dental technician commented that my gums were healthy and I didn't have any bad plaque build up. Needless to say, I'm sold on the "goodness" and value of spending ~$100 for the top of line ORAL-B toothbrush.

On a related note, the ORAL-B Cross Action manual toothbrush works much better then anything else I have ever used in a manual brush.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll bump this up one more for one round to see if anyone else wants to comment!
Happy holidays!

I also would suggest the SonicCare. It is one of the best and easy to get replacement brush heads.
