I just received and set up my new KMG (happy happy joy joy -- thanks Rob!!).
I followed all the wiring instructions, including the grounding wires. It then occurred to me -- how do I know the wall outlet's grounding prong is truly grounded? I can check that it is wired, but I don't want to have to trace the line all the way back to the electrical panel. My shop is in the unfinished basement of a house I rent, so it could be the outlets were installed by the owner, and not done properly. Is there a way to test with one of those electrical tester thingies (technical term)?
