Plain little tool box knives. Black handle double blade, cutting and screw driver type. Military type knife. Had one years ago and finally found one in never used condition. Are these of any collector's value? Like I say it is a tool box knife, just wondered if 8.26 with shipping is an OK deal.

TL-29's are great working tools. Never met anyone who collects them, but people collect anything nowdays. I think any American made knife of similar design in unused condition is worth at least eight bucks. Be careful of Chinese imports (some have even been marked Schrade or Colonial), as they are not of the same quality.

Advertised as a Camillus. I'll be disapointed if it's not. Didn't know about offshore clones. Not much to lose though. 8.26 includes shipping. Didn't buy it as a collectible. It'll never be anything but a tool box knife. Thanks for the reply.

I haave 7, is that collecting?

Nice to meet you,Dijos. Hope you enjoy your knife redjohn. Personally, I have three. One that I purchased to use (Camillus), one that lives in the toolbox because I misplaced the first one (Camillus all stainless Duratool), and one that my step dad found in his yard and gave me (civilian Sears Craftsman version). I guess I'm collecting them too....

Got the knife. Marked "Camillus - N.Y. - USA" It's just as advertised. Shave you sharp and snappy open and close. I think that it's now a collecter.
