Electro-oil quenching

Is anyone aware of any types of studies done on the effects of manipulating of quenching medium by the use of electricity? I was curious if having the blade being quenched and the quenching oil having opposing charges would have any benefits by possibly attracting the oil to the blade to reduce vapor barrier? Am I of my rocker here? It woke me up last night.

We use electricity in oil in electro-discharge machining,but that's another story. Commercially oil tanks with circulating pumps work fine and the good commercial quenching oils have a higher vaporizing temperature.
