Hey everyone! Here is another mod I done to a Cold Steel hawk. This one took me a tremendous amount of time to do. There are a ton of mistakes on this one but it came together together decently in the end. Pics and video are below.

A beautiful work of art, nicely done.

Anyone would be proud to own that.

That is terrific craftsmanship there.

I'm tomahawk illiterates... Do the feathers just add to the package or are they symbolic? (like historically)

Impressed with your work of course - just curious.

Always debated on getting a hawk, mostly because I probably wouldn't use it. But damn sir, that is really great work. Good on you for making a fine piece of art like that.

cool look on that wood, do you use beeswax to give it that dull sheen?
Thanks man! Nope, Just fire, lots of fine sanding, stain and urethane.

Very nice work indeed Sir!
Thank you man!

Simply amazing.
I appreciate that!

Thank you man! I really appreciate that. I am learning as I go! In Native American society the feather actually symbolizes trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, freedom and other things. If an Indian is given Golden or Bald Eagle feathers (Of course I used Turkey & Guinea feather) it is one of the most rewarding items they can have. They've attached them to many different things, including weapons. Feathers may seem so cliche in today's society in our view of Native Americans, but they were almost the equivalent of getting a badge of honor in those days.
