Elishewitz (Damasteel) folder - ideas on value?

Here's just one picture so far of an Elishewitz folder, bought in the late 80's early 90's, certainly before 1996.

I found it in a box of desktop treasures that I was unpacking today, as I try to recover from the new flooring, which has all our stuff in boxes out in the garage. I'll take a few more pics of it tomorrow when the sun comes up: not entirely satisfied with what the flash did to it. The scales are carbon fiber, inset into the metal. The edges of the handle are anodized light purple, and the cross-pins are red. I'll show those soon.

(Updated: I'm told the right word for the blade is "Damasteel". Thanks!

I'm interested in what the knife might be worth, should I decide to sell it.

(I'll be asking this a lot. If it's inappropriate or boring, let me know and I'll stop. Thanks!)

Hi ... I guess you're saying that the blade is made of "Damasteel"? So noted ... I'l update the note. Pardon my ignorance please.

Older Elishewitz's (not in damasteel) generally go for around $300-$400. So to give you a safe estimate i would say with the damasteel expect a $400 value if you choose to sell privately.
