Having finally gotten home from Blade and having created some images of knives, here is the latest photo version of the engraved knife by Brian Hochstrat or the Elizabeth Loerchner folder. The folder was created in March 2011.

Fantastic work. Really nice pics, Murray! Excellent lighting of the sculpted surfaces.

The real trick is to get the sculpting to show and keep the surfaces that are high polished to show that and I have not figured out how to do it. without the highlight and shadow, there is no sculpting so I have to compromise. Easy to lose the gold too but that can be fixed.

Gorgeous knife Murray and rare one too. Big congrats! I like her fathers as well.. this one in particular.

I had a chance to see this beauty pre-engraving, and look forward to seeing it again some time soon. Beautiful!

Murray,

Congratulations on two very special knives.

Great photos also.

I've never seen a Loerchner that wasn't absolutely beautiful. What a mentor, and what a student! Knives of the Loerchners are truly special.

Those are both really special folders Murray.. These are the types of knives, when shown to people who are in the dark about knife collecting, start them to understand the artistry and workmanship involved.. (At least in my case I have found that...) Beautiful shots too, as usual... Best Regards, Rich

I can't write...still a bit too busy drooling.

Really just an exquisite piece (as usual) and highly complimented by the exceptional photography.
