There must be a thing for stag this new year, I see there has been several posted. Started this knife before christmas and just got a little time to finish.
AOL 9 3/4" w/ 4 1/2" blade, forged 52100 3x quenched & drawn, handle is elk with a cocobolo bolster, brass guard, spacer and butt cap, blade has been etched to show temper line.

Bill, Jerry took the words out of my mouth...STUNNING. As a rule I don't like handles like that but that is so well blended it looked like it grew that way. The blade is beautiful also. Just a fantastic package.

Wow, Bill, that's beautiful! I love the handle, everything flows so well. I bet it's great to hold. Great blade design too, and what a finish! We're lucky to get to see this, thanks for sharing.

Beautiful workmanship, beautiful knife!
I also love the lines. It looks like a very functional and comfortable knife to actaully cut with.

It does feel good in my hand, very comfortable and it loves to cut rope, lots of rope.
