Elk/Deer Hunt - Skunked again. pic heavy

Well another deer and elk season is past. At least I did no worse than last year. It was still nice to be outdoors with my brother and father.

Started things off right seeing wildlife before the hunt thought it was a good omen

More deer in my dads backyard than the national Forrest

Little scorpion

Next to my EDC Keppie for size comparison

Even better omen or so I thought

Saw big shroom

Had some JK's hanging around looking for action

Actually the tracks and the den in the pic below was aways apart. Due to it being so warm still, he probably was not.
The bear tracks followed a lot of Elk tracks towards a large stream. Never saw either.

bull/gopher snake and a rollie polly beatle = wrong area for deer. come on out to wisconsin...

Normally it's snowing in Oregon this time of year but it was warm. The gopher snake was at my house in Ca prior to leaving, just thought it was a good sign. The scorpion was in ay my dads house or OR. It was a good time. The deer/Elk have been declining in the last few years. Thanks for all the nice comments.
