Elk Fighter II

Here is my Elk Fighter II. It being the second one of this design that I have made. The first Elk fighter is the one at the top of the first pic. It was forged from 1084 where as the original was forged from a buggy spring. It is just under 11 inches if you include the skull crusher nut on the butt. The blade is 6 inches convex ground with an aged patina/etch.

Very nice. The patina really pulls it together. Great job.
 
I keep coming back to gawk at these knives:eek: I like the aged look of the elk, the dark patina on the steel ties the overall look together really well, and the blades are just damn sweet! Very nice work, dude:thumbup:
 
wowie, those are some of the nicest i've seen in a bit!, care to divulge how you did the patina?
