elk ivory lanyard bead help

I was hoping to get some ideas or suggestions on turning my elk ivory into a lanyard bead for some of my folders.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to accomplish this?
Surely someone on here has some lanyards with elk ivory attached.

Pics would be great. I have only found one or two and i still have no clue how I would make a bead out of one.

dig out the old dremel tool and have at it! i have done some grate stuff with bone and wood for lanyard beads,give it a try!its not that hard to do,and i think any body who owns knifes should have a dremel tool on the side shelf,this is just my thoughts .:thumbup::thumbup:
