Is Elk Ridge another Taylor-Schrade brand?
I bought an Elk Ridge stockman today ("$15.00" at the truck stop)
it looks identical to a Uncle Henry/Old Timer with the imitation stag covers. ("Stagalon"?)
Seems ok, so far, no blade wobble, no blade rub, a short gap between the liner and back spring on the mark side, but not serious, the "Spey" blade looks like a pen blade, which is fine, as I don't plan on neutering any critters.
Closed length is the same as my Buck 301, but the main clip blade of the Elk Ridge is a little longer.
I don't think it will replace my 301 for EDC, but it seems a nice enough knife.
