elp me get started to forge a tomahawk

I have been wanting to make tomahawks for a long time, and now I have decided to start. i have an old hand forge that belonged to my grandfather. He used to work on horse shoes and things. I have seen a lot of videos on youtube and am wanting to purchase a book to help me get started. I have looked at som on bladesmithing and was wondering if anyone had any advice on good books? Thanks for any advice
