I just picked up this fine piece from the Post Office today and before the rain started I wished to give it a quick moment under the Lens of my camera and give a review of this fine knife.

First of all the sheath, I measure all sheaths I receive by makers under the standard of Paul Long Leather. This sheath is a finely made piece of leather matching the ambiance and color of the knife. The knife fits snugly in the sheath and the sheath is made of well stitched tooled leather and I am very pleased with the quality, fit, and overall design of the sheath.

The fighter is as follows.

Hand Crafted from 1095 and 15N20 hand forged in an Egypt pattern. Hardened to a Rockwell of 58-60
The Bolster is crafted from Fossilized Woolly Mammoth Tooth and Dovetailed. What struck me is the unique color of this piece of Tooth.
The handle material is also crafted from Extinct Stellers Sea Cow bone and is accented with Yellow Liners and Mosaic Brass, Copper and Silver pins.

its hair popping sharp and a well crafted knife and a work of art. Great work Shane I am 110% pleased with this knife.

Ren you don't know how much it pleases me to hear this kind of feed back from my customers. This is one of my finer pieces and I was somewhat sad to see it go. But I believe it has found a good home. Thanks for the compliments, Shane

Good Heavens, Ren.

Don't let my wife see that!!

She'll be all over me for 'something similar.' That woman loves the whole 'elf' and 'LOTR' thing something fierce ... :o

Plus, it looks ridiculously well made.

Would that be about a 7" blade?

Pretty cool my man now it's a nice rainy night to have a new blade to fondel . I love those nights.
