Hello All,
I ran across an Elwell axe the other day that was in very good condition, in fact marked "new old stock." Now I'm not sure it had never been used, but it certainly was in good shape.
It was around 3 lbs with a very clear "Elwell" stamped on one side and "Made in England" on the other. The shape was something like a Dayton, only with a much more pronounce flare or fanning out from pole to edge.
Just wondering about peoples' opinions of Elwell in general and about what might be a good price.
Thanks.
John
