So can I change my email address to my Verizon address now? The one I used to set up my account is an old one. I still get emails to it but would much rather have things go to my Verizon address like everything else. Why is it this is the only VB board that seems to have problems with people using a Verizon address anyway??

Haven't looked lately but when I signed up they wouldn't let you use a Verizon email address. Said emails from this forum got sent to a spam folder when using Verizon.

From the edit email address link - Want or need to Edit your Email Address?
(Note: Verizon.net addresses not allowed. READ THE FAQ)

So what's the deal with this forum and Verizon email addresses?? All the others I go to don't have a problem with them.......

Not a BF problem, it's the other way around.
Verizon refuses to recognize Bladeforums.

Get a gmail address to use with BF.

And just why does "Verizon refuse to recognize Bladeforums" when every other VB board I go to works just fine with it?

I HAVE an email address that is working with BF I don't need another one. What I'd like to do is move my address to one that I use more often. How long ago was this tested anyway? Have things changed since you effectively "banned" Verizon addresses?

Bothers you? Ask Spark. I'm just passing on information that comes up when people ask. Or try it and get locked out.

You can try your verizon email address and see if it works, but don't blame us if you end up in the bounced email group or otherwise messed up.
It would probably just be safer and just as easy to set up the email you use for bladeforums to send any emails/notifications to your verizon email address.

Would love to (try it) but it won't even let you try a Verizon address. I just tried and it says that address has been BANNED and to change it.

See above on the first part. Funny part on the second part is I can still send and receive email on that account (that I have set up with BF right now) but I can no longer access it due to closing the account. Yep doesn't make sense but it still works..........

We've attempted to get on verizon's whitelist for a while, for some reason they keep refusing.
