Email feature not working?

From my cell, I clicked a username, then selected the email option. Typed up a message but it seems like it never went through. Actually tried it twice - both failed. Any suggestions?

As a follow up, if it did work as intended, would the reply have gone directly to my email?

If it did work, yes, the reply should go to your email. But you have a strange email address. If your email did go through, your correspondent might not have replied.

Also, I don't believe your email is enabled. Go to Settings in the upper right, then to General Settings on the left side. Click on your email settings.
 
Ahh! I didn't have receive email from other members checked.

If that was unchecked, could I still have sent emails? The other user said he never received my email, so I just want to make sure this is the source of the hiccup.
 
I am not familiar with the vBulletin code that runs Bladeforums. I suggest testing it by sending a message once you have enabled your email settings.
 
No email.

Next step, post in tech support to ask Spark to look into it. I am out of ideas.
