email issues

It's been a while since I've frequented the sight and I'm having trouble receiving emails from other members. Not sure if they're getting my pm's to them, but I'm definitely not getting any from anyone else. The only correspondence I'm I'm having any luck with is by posting on threads.
Anyone able to help me out? I'm not the savviest of computer users, but I imagine it's a simple fix.

First of all, pm's are not emails. As a Registered user, you don't get pm's (Private Messages). Go to Settings in the upper right, then down the left side to General Settings, and be sure you've checked off access to email.
