I recently emailed Benchmade Knife Co about them making a model of the AFCK with an Axis Lock and I got an Email back saying that they aren't sure if they're going to make one, but the guy that responded to my email says that he'll put in another vote in the ballot for an Axis AFCK!!
 
There has been a fairly strong demand for an Axis AFCK on the BM forum. Whether they make one is going to depend on whether they feel there is sufficient demand for a separate production run for this knife,IMHO.
 
There's no doubt about it that there's sufficient demand, I just think they're afraid of a huge drop-off in sales of their other products.
 
I think if all of us who want an axis afck bombbard BM with emails, then they might consider it more.
 
Hmmm, we could go around the country with guns and "ask" 500,000 people to sign a petition for a carbon fiber axis lock afck :)
 
don't forget the M2 steel, baby!!!

While we're at it - why doesn't BM add some nickel or SS bolsters to the puppy & then they'd have a high-end product that would justify a new run - the bolsters would add to the cost but they could do a "limited edition" that would easily sell out, just to us internet knife-fiends alone! CF & bolsters, M2 axis-lock AFCK; someone asked about dream production knives in a post a couple days ago, and this was one of 2 I listed. Please BM/Santa, do right by us knifenuts . . .
