Embedding video in BLogs?

I started my first blog here on Blade Forums and was wondering about embedding video in Blogs. When I embed a video in a regular thread I see the actual video. I just used the same embed feature in my Blog and only see the link to the video. Is there a way to see the actual video as in regular thread?
