  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Anyone know anything about this micro lathe/ mill? There is one locally going for $350 that is in new condition. I am looking for something to make folder making a little more precise. This thing is tiny, but it seems nice for the small footprint.

I have one, getting ready to sell. It's a nice little machine, but not my cup of tea. I went and got a craftsman/atlas 6 inch on CL to replace it. Much more functional and not a lot more $$ if you keep your eyes open.

I could be wrong, but I think those machines are metric, if that matters to you. For a new (or like new) machine, that's not a terrible price, but I'm not sure I'd personally have much use for one. I'd probably just throw the money at something a bit larger.

That said, if you wanted to give it a shot, I'm sure you'd get your $350 back out of it, if you decided to move on.

That's a lathe only though right?

I have owned and used one. They are not very precise.
Get something bigger.
