I just purchased a Blackbird® a couple of hours ago, and I think its the best Emerson® knife i ever held in my hands
, well, that's my own opinion anyway. It combines all the stuff I like from various Emerson® knives like the Specwar®, the Raven®, and the G-10.
It has the Blade of the Specwar®, the handle shape of the Raven®, and the G-10 handles that make it all the better...
I like the looks of the knife too as it has a kind of slim-streamlined look, and overall it is not too heavy either.
Another aspect I like about it is that the handle makes it feel very comfortable in the hand if used with the blade undeployed as a grappling tool...
Pity about it not having the WAVE® though
I strongly recommend that those who do not have one seriously considering getting one...
