Hey all, I was following a link from MSN and ended up at the Family Home Storage webpage of the Mormon Church. Now I am not affiliated with the church, nor endorsing or condeming them in any way (although back in high school I dated a few of the girls, ah sweet sweet Amber....hmm sorry, got distracted).

The theory that I picked up was to store enough food for the family for a year, where practical and legal, and they gave tips on what to have and how to procure and store it.

Thought it might make for some interesting reading.

Again, I am not interested in theology or philosophy, just the practical aspects of what they are talking about

Buying a years worth of food is easy.

Having a years worth of good, usable food, during the year that you need it, in the distant future, takes planning.
