Emergency Kit / Bug Out Bag / Knife Storage

I haven't done any of these things. I have an idea or things to put inside but haven't got any cool pouches or bags yet. I suppose I would google the words bug-out bag and emergency survival pouch to find such items?

Also, I have folders laying around everywhere, I'm addicted to looking at knives and clicking the "buy button". Who makes nice gear for storing folders, with pockets/slots for each knife that won't break the bank but are good quality?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks guys! :)

Just google "knife roll". You decide what you like & want to spend.

If you only want to store a 'coupla' knives for carry in a pack, you can use a pistol magazine pouch. You can even sew velcro to it and your bug-out-bag for it to stay right where you want it to.

I've been looking for the same thing myself. I jumped onto ebay and did a search for "knife roll." Some decent looking buys on there.

How big a folder are you talking about? I have an original LM Wave in its cordura pouch on the front strap of my SOURCE "camelbak". IMO a MT's versatility makes a lot more sense than a plain knife when you don't know what you're going to have to face - and the less weight to carry the better.

Knife roll!!! - WTF? Were you intending to take your BOB to culinary school?

I use the Spyderco Spyderpacs, they're nice for storing and transporting folders and they come in all kinds of sizes, they won't break the bank (around $30.00) unless you need like ten of them, then just about anything worth putting your knives into will. Kershaw and Benchmade offer similar products but I haven't used them.

No clue waht you're talking about dude????

My biggest folders are the Police 3 G-10, Military, BM 710 etc. The Police is probably the longest overall lenghth folder I have. I don't like those huge knives from CS or ZT. I like 'em lean and mean. ;)
