Some of you might remember that I had a series of articles about emergency wilderness survival on my website. That's gone, after re-doing my website. However, I'm slowly adding it back; and I'm taking the opportunity to also update it.

I'm sharing with you, here, partly in case you find it worthwhile, or just fun, and also partly to get your feedback. I won't necessarily incorporate all feedback I get, but there's a good chance I'll incorporate a lot of it.

I've put the first two parts online, so far. Even though they're already online, I can still easily change them. Ultimately, there will probably be about a dozen parts to the series. I'll come back and post, more, when I've added more.

Also, bear in mind that my website is about nature photography, and these articles are oriented toward nature photographers.

Thanks for any feedback. I hope you enjoy.

Cheers.

Mike,
Your photos are amazing! I will be spending some time going thorough your blog in the future.

Cool. Mike, I already have one of your pages on my bookmarks list, the one about personal survival kit. I'll add the others.

You're welcome, Tyrkon.

Thanks, Ryan.

Havokk, the link about the PSK shouldn't be working, anymore. I'll try to get the new version online within a few weeks.

Evolute, fantastic shots. When I grab my rods & head for our boat, my wife grabs her camera bag and keeps the back of the boat occupied with me. Her main interest is the same as yours, but she has not published any of hers yet, sort of a "hobbie" to her. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future as well.
Be safe.

Evolute, thank you. The info is great. Your many photos, which I have seen over time, are almost beyond belief. I don't know know how are able to do it, but I am so glad you do! Thank you so much for sharing. Please keep it up!
Fred
