emerson 3" edc folder?

What would you guys recommend for a ~3" edc folder from Emerson, anything other than the mini a-100? Pics would be awesome if you have a favorite.

Are you limiting your blade size because of local laws? or just prefer a smaller knife?

I know someone who carries a Combat Karambit everyday because the blade is only about 2.5". It's a big knife to carry though, because of it's handle.

Kershaw/Emerson CQC-1K???

I have 2 Travelers and I really like them. They kinda remind me of a Spyderco Delica on steroids. They're disco'd IIRC, but still available. The micro-Com is also nice if you want a recurve blade.

I've thinking about picking up a Traveler for when I go into Chicago. I've gotta stay legal, you know!

I was surprised at how easy they are to pocket and to open/close. The thumbhole is well placed and shaped and is easier for me to use than the micro-Com type hole. And the wave ramp makes it easy to close after unlocking. Just an all around excellent sub 3" folder.

Micro-Commander or Bulldog. MC is discontinued but there are some left in stock. I've been carrying my Bulldog and love it.

I'm seriously contemplating a Bulldog adoption. Seems like a Six blade in a near-10 handle, which sounds damned nice to me.

Same. The Bulldog has been growing on me, I like it the more I look at it. So many Emersons, not enough knife funds!

You are so right. If I could I'd get a Micro and Mini and Jungle and Ubr Commander. Along with a waveless CQC 7 and an A 100 right now. I am focused primarily on a Specwar now though. That is what will satisfy me in the short run.

As far as a three inch blade? I'd say the Micro Commander.
