Anyone else snag one of these last week?

It was a limited qty offer post on their facebook page Thursday Night / Friday morning that has since been removed...

They had found a few waveless CQC-7A blades from 2005 that were never assembled - plain and partly serrated - and offered them for sale. By the time I called and placed my order they only had partially serrated blades, so I snagged one!

Can't wait, should be delivered Friday :thumbup:. But its coming to my office so I won't see it until Monday :grumpy: :thumbdn:

In going through a recent shop clean up and rearrangement, Mary spotted a dusty unlabeled box, taped up with yellowed, cracking masking tape. It looked like it was probably just junk, boxed up in our big move and tucked away on a shelf since 2010. (We still have some shelves and stacks of boxes unopened since that move).
But when we opened it we found a tray of mint, unbuilt 2005 non waved, black CQC-7A’s. Mary sent them straight to assembly and we now have a small batch of brand new, 2005 CQC-A’s available.
The 7 A is a great knife, strong and sturdy and these will not last long.

Well the box arrived today and it contained a 2012 Emerson CQC-7AW BTS...... :(

So I'm assuming they won't have any of the '05 ones left now....

Oh well. I'm giving them a call when they open, hope they will accept the return...
 
Just got back from AFG, catching up on blades. I am not sure if I am in the right area, I had a ? can I asked you the price, if not appropriate , please forgive.
I found one in a shop and total mint serrated from 05 wave less cqc 7, serial # on blade is in the 300s, box and papers.

Nice! I paid $180 I believe for the one from them. It was only available from Emerson and a real limited qty.
