is the blade a flat grind or v grind or chisel grind? i just wante to know because i dislike chisel grinds thanks

its ground on both sides but the actual edge is chisel

the final edge is a chisel grind but it can be resharpened into a v grind or it can be turned into a scandi grind like the one i did for joezilla. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=641456

excuse my ignorance on blade edges--can you briefly explain what is skandi grind, and why it is good?

if you look at the picture of joes knife you will see part of the blade is coated. that part is flat. the shiny part of the blade tapers down to the edge. the other side is the same. this is called a scandi grind edge. it doesnt have a secondary bevel. most people like this type of edge since you can lay the blade flat on a stone to sharpen it. the only drawback is if you chip the edge. you have to remove a lot of metal to sharpen the blade past the chip.

Right, but I think that Richard made another user's A100 into a ZGB (or a scandi grind blade).
