We'll see how the bidding goes. I'm not sure I'm willing to sink a bunch of bills into a knife I probably would be scared to use. Plus, I'm more of a user than a collector.

I'd call myself more of an accumulator. :D
 
I'm defo. interested in this "Gypsy Jack" we'll see what happens soon enough I suppose.
 
I've been trying to set aside a bit of funds for this event. As usual, I'm a day late and dollar short getting started. I don't think I'll have enough on hand to really be an active bidder. What makes it more difficult is the number of Emersons I'm interested in that have been popping up in sales forums recently at very reasonable prices. The temptation is great to play it conservative, just throw in the towel on a possible auction acquistion and pick off a couple of the offered production pieces. On the other hand, the Gentleman Jim has really piqued my interest. It would be cool to snag one.

Hmmmm. What to do?

At this point, doing both is not a option.
