Just thought you might be interested in a pic of the first knife Ernest Emerson made: a Bali!!!

and just noticed it happens to be a Manila set up...interesting.

do you have one?
how much do you think one of those would go for, it looks slick. I saw one that looked kind of the same but where the handle met the blade, the handle was rounded. it probaly is the same come to think of it, the nub probably just made indentations on both sides.

Disp - I'm fairly sure that there is only one of these, and it'd be pretty hard (as well as expensive) to try to obtain it.

Masse - I actually think this bali is the first knife Ernie has ever made, not just one of the first

talked to Mr. Emerson already and don't think it'll work

then again I am a nobody with no pull the main concern is that he is based in LA. customs might be anoter issue but he can't even get his folders out on time why spend twice as much time on a balisong.. that undoubtedly cost 3000.00 and that's before shipping

still I admit it has cool history and the company has a good name. How much experience or skill Emerson knives has with balis is anote rquestion.
