Remember when you wandered over to the Emerson Knives Forum and posted the question as to the possibility of Emerson making Balisongs? I remember that the response from my fellow forumites was less than receptive. Well I just thought that I'd share this with you.

actually the credit to bravery should be given to afee for that.. he was the one who started the thread.. I jumped in to wag shame to the rest of your foumite colleagues

but I had read only a few weeks later in an article in Blade or Tac knives about Ernie's first knife being a Balisong, by then the thread had died.

Still it is very ironic / romantic, to see that a Maker of Mr. Emrson's stature be rooted in the Balisong.

Overall I think the Emerson crowd (with the fanaticity (?) of foaming sharks - which is a good thing seriously)

Cool beans indeed! Thanks for the pic a. Its a pretty good looking knife, homemade or not. And Snipe, thanks for the credit (finanly the recognition I deserve...hear that wolrd! here I am!!!!!) I mean, err.... back to the hole (but i'm bringing my 42's with me).
