I have two Emerson Knife blades one used to be black the other is a stone washed both have lots of scratches.

I thought about bead blasting both and leaving it at that but curious if I could get them back to factory spec ? Any ideas ? Or maybe getting them both stone washed and reground to factory spec

I have two blades, one a black commander blade that is scratched to hell the other a stone washed that is also scratched up

I want to refinish them but I’ll lose the factory markings and if I stone wash them both they will need reground

Thought about sand blasting them and doing “ghost” or “phantom” clones, any ideas ?

Cerakote is an option so is black nickel and black oxide... I am how ever trying to “replicate” Emerson customs I have seen

have u called Emerson and asked your options? you might try that,
I'm guessing the value of the knives is about $200 each assuming they are some standard model,
Unless you are going to do the stone washing and regrinding yourself, it will be very difficult to find a maker that will assist you in that.

My options are new blades from emerson
s I have read that somewhere. That you can exchange your old blade for new ones for a fee. Not sure what the fee was though.

Plus you have to add in the Shipping and insurance coming back to you.

If you have not been involved with knife making and folders I don't think your you will find your results very pleasing.
