I have seen many Emersons knives but saw one here that I REALLY liked but I have one big problem with Emerson. If only that knife I saw had a non tanto, non serrated edge normal looking blade. I have not seen a single Emerson that fits that description. What gives?
This would have been the perfect knife for me.

so you do like the one in the pic, but ya want a non tanto?

it looks like either a custom CQC6 or '7 in the pic.

EKI makes production non serrated spear point '7s, customs too IIRC, the '6 is a custom with only a tanto blade.

what do ya like about it so? the handle? since its a tanto (the pic) it wouldnt be the blade i dont guess, i cant see enough of the handle to tell if its a '6 OR '7 though.....if its the handle and its a '7 get a production SP '7, if its the '6 none of the others match up very closely to it except another '6.

These days I don't know what a normal looking blade looks like. I prefer non-tanto, non-serrated also, like this...

Emerson has something for everyone. You just have to look. Don't give up. ;)

Here's a couple that I had modded that fit your discription, check'em out. I can point you in the right direction if you need any help!

Some of the more popular non-tanto style blades are the A-100 (next on my EKI want list), Commander, CQC-8, Horseman and CQC-7A. All of which are produced in PE only. As has been said, do a little digging and discover the Wonderful World of Emerson.:D

The knife in the original post is in deed a 6. There are very few of those in the a blade or spear point. Good luck with the hunt.

Man you need to check out the Persian.
I've had mine for a month or so and can't stop snapping it out and fondling it!

Actually that looks like a cqc-5. And the best way to make what you are describing would be to do like ickkey did above. There are quite a few cqc-7a's on evilbay right now.
