Emerson clips?

I've avoided buying Emersons because they are all tip-up knives and I much prefer tip-down. However, after watching the short videos on Emerson's site which show demos of the "wave" opening, I thought it would be interesting to give one of his knives a shot.

Imagine my surprise when I saw a P-SARK on Ebay with holes for both tip-up and tip-down. Isn't the wave feature almost useless when carried tip down? And why does a "wave" knife have provisions for tip-down carry, but a non-wave knife like the Mach-I does not? I would think it would make more sense to have tip-up or -down options on a non-wave knife.

Does anyone know if all of Emerson's knives will eventually have the clip options, or is this just for the SARK? Anyone have a favorite Emerson to recommend to me for EDC use?

Thanks once again for the information/opinions.

I have an Emerson Specwar and really like it, but its not waved:( Its a pretty good knife, and I would recomend it, but I have come to hate chisle grind, I just think V grind is far superior, and I have had many people tell me this recently as well. But the knife is SOLID, no bladeplay at all, very nice. But again, no wave, and that damn chisle grind.I think I may sell it to save towards a UT6, I am just dying for one.
