Does anyone have any pictures of a Emerson clone?

I heard that they were making clones in the Philippines. I wonder what the differences are.

Some people should be alerted to what a Emerson clone looks like so they don't get ripped off.

EKI had a link to a page that had some good pictures of the fakes vs real things. One of the dead giveaways are the lack of a double ball detent, the logo being off, (set wrong angle) and torx drive screws.

Is this one?

It's a fake. Wrong screws, blade finish, logo, grind, pocket clip, thumb disk.. and other stuff..

Total fake. I saw this one on ebay the other day and did a double take myself.

It's like a Benchmade 970 and an Emerson CQC-7V went on a trip to Guangzhou and made a baby o_O

Exactly what I thought.. Benchmade x Emerson hybrid. The grips are from the old benchmade CQC-7 but they never made one with the Emerson wave feature. That is what made me look at it twice as well

its a fake, my first emerson cqc 7 was a clone that I purchase from a Chinese app on my phone, when I first got it I really did like it, then I bought a clone horsemen, then I bought and still have a clone super karambit and a still have a clone fox karambit.

I gave the 7 to a buddy at work and gave another buddy a clone strider, the clone 7 put a bad taste in my mouth for the cqc 7, and for the longest time I avoided buying a real cqc7, my first real emerson was a gentleman jim which was the knife that turned me on to emersons in the first place.

long story short I eventually bought a cqc7 ( a waveless model) fell in love with the 7 and now its my go to
