I just started to collect emerson's.I finished with the Masters Of Defense(MOD) so now it's Emerson.Can you guys the experts tell me what I have to have and what i can do with out.I no there all expensive.
I have the following.
SOCFK Super
SOCFK Small
Raven
CQC-10
CQC-11
CQC-15 On Order
PUK On Order
CQC-12

Now this is what I want
The Mach-1
Specwar
CQC-14 and the new fixed that's comeing out Ina little while.

And can anone tell me about the Emerson Timberline or Emerson-USN Dagger

i have the emerson-timberline aviator its not a very good knife has a bad bevels the chisel grind is nothing like what you would find on an normal Emerson. The Large Specwar verion is supposed to be quite nice. Another model you might want is the knife he makes for Barrett rifles its basically a mach-1.
 
I wish we could see some pics also. You can't go wrong with the CQC-15, I think it has the best of all worlds: sort of a clip/tanto point with a recurved blade plus wave... I'll get me one someday.
The CQC-12 looks like a must. What about a Commander?
By the way: where did you order your future PUK???

I agree with the forget about the hoarding the prodos, and get a custom instead. Of course, 1 custom is going to cost you the equivalent of 7-8 production pieces.
 
Irish- Are you looking for a HD-7? Satin,plain blade. I agree, go custom if you $ can.

i would go the custom route myself, or limited production EKI's like the I&I tanto or the ECA stuff, '12s are great knives imho.
 
i thought about the custom route but I don't have $800.00 or more at a pop when i can still collect the kives I enjoy and get 1-2 a month.Pluse I also collect Masters Od Defense (MOD) and there not cheap plus Extrema Ratio Fixed Blades I have 7 of those.

if ya get one or 2 a month save your $$ for 3 months and voila ya have enough for a custom.
