Emerson Combat Karambit Authenticity

I have an Emerson Combat Karmabit that I'm considering putting up for sale on the Exchange here but I wanted to verify a few things before doing so. My knife does not have a year etched on the blade and the box does not have a label. All the other Emersons I have owned did have these things. I was on SIGForum mostly at the time that I bought this and folks there told me the lack of a year on the blade and label on the box were possible on a genuine knife but I'd like to verify that here before posting it for sale. The build quality on this seems to be on par or better than the older model that I owned and the trainer that I currently own.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

EKI has omitted the year stamp starting in 2015. Everything on that knife looks genuine.

Yeah, if you bought it brand new it's probably a '15 with no date. I have an older one that's dated, but way before they changed the tip.

Everything looks good from here too in the pics. It's real--I can tell by the way the clip scratches.

Yep, you're good. The newer karambits had the change in the blade tip yours exhibits, and just like he said Emerson clips get a certain hue to them and it has that also.

What you have here is a newer-model Emerson karambit and a Emerson karambit trainer, the one with the blue handles.

Thanks guys. I was 99% sure of its authenticity but I wanted to be 100% before posting for sale here. Now I just need to decide whether or not to sell it. This one just never sees any use. I've got a Spyderco Karahawk that I carry a lot and I just got a 5.11 C.U.B. Master 2.0 (S30V) today. That 5.11 has a really good build quality and I thought it might bump the Emerson out of my collection. The problem is I like having all the different one in my collection, even if they don't see any use
